DFG-funded University International Scholarship position focuses on the molecular mechanisms of pathogen-microbiota interactions in intestinal inflammation. We aim to identify characteristics that contribute to the phenotype of pathogenic E.-competitive komensal coli using genetic approaches in mouse models of colitis.
